Researching, i have seen a post from someone else saying same problem and they were recommended to try VAGCOM 409.1 in windows XP which they said worked great. I have tried VCDS Lite and in options chose port3 and interface is found but I then click on the different interfaces to connect to and none of them will connect, says 'interface no found'. All drivers in ok and interface found and i can get the system to run the car identification so seems all working fine but i just cant do anything with it, it doesnt read anything else from the drop down menu, ive tried them all. It came with vag commander 1.4 chinese edition.
Ive done a bit of research and purchased a VAG-K+CAN full commander cable which i believed the right cable for my car.
